NDIS SERVICES

Assistance with Daily Living is an NDIS Core Support. Greystanes support people in daily living skills across all our services.  Each person  is provided with support based on their individual needs. Our staff are trained in person centred active support methods ensuring success of the task at hand by using graded assistance with respect and dignity. Greystanes specialise in complex needs and multiple disabilities.

Examples of Daily Living Skills:

• Assistance with personal care, showering and moving around your home and outside.
• Assistance with cleaning, laundry and maintenance of your home
• Meal preparation, shopping and eating assistance if required.

Assistance with Social and Community Participation is an NDIS Core Support.  Greystanes assists people to access and participate in the community across all our services.  This support is flexible and is based on individual requests and needs. 

Our Day Program is unique for its support of people with complex needs.  Every day the activities are different, sometimes centred based and other times out in the community involved in group or individual activities. Our Community Connections program is suitable for people with disability who live in their own home and would like to be involved in individual or group activities in the community.

Our Home Support Services will transport you and/or support you if you would like to attend events such as sport games, movies, community groups, and so on. Our Group Homes all have their own accessible vehicles.

Examples of Assistance with Social and Community Participation:

Community Living and Home Support Services. We will provide SIL in your own home, a Greystanes Group Home or we will rent a home for you and your friends to live with support from Greystanes.

Greystanes have seven homes in the Blue Mountains and Nepean region.

Transport is an NDIS Core support. We provide accessible transport across all service delivery areas. We have vehicles that can transport four people with wheelchairs, two wheelchairs and vehicles with one wheelchair for specialist medical appointments and individual community access participation.

Susan Hatswell, our Day Options Manager is a Plan Manager.  We are able to claim directly from the budgets in your plan to pay your providers on your behalf.

We can make it easier for you by paying your providers for the supports you purchase which will help you keep track of your funds through financial reporting.
